ABOUT COLLEGE

Yashwant Rural Education Society’s Bapurao Deshmukh College of Engineering was established in 1983 by Late Shri. Bapuraoji Deshmukh, a close associate of Mahatma Gandhi with the concept of “Teaching is a mission not a profession.” This mission is being continued by our present Chairman Prof. Suresh B. Deshmukh.

ABOUT LOCATION

The College located in Sevagram, about 8 km from Wardha and 4 km from Sevagram railway station (Delhi-Chennai route) and well connected by roads and railways with all major cities in India. It is about 80 km from Nagpur.Wardha is near to prominent &historical places like Pawner Vinba ashram, Gopuri,Mangan sanghralya & Gandhi ashram.

OBJECTIVES AND IMPORTATANCE OF CONFERENCE

Bapurao Deshmukh College Of Engineering, Sevagram (BDCE), Wardha is situated in the place where from Rastrapita Bapu, Mahatma Gandhi, not only trumpeted the freedom fight struggle of India from 1937 till the freedom from British but also propagated the movement of indigenization which later became SWADESHI movement. Khadi, the indigenously woven cotton, involved the technology which could be easily adopted by the rural masses and soon become the means of livelihood for lakhs of rural masses. With the time newer technology emerged resulting in availability of finer cotton and fabric. The Khadi was forced to take back seat. This made lakhs of people striving on Charkha for their lively hood, jobless. Increased unemployment in India in general and Wardha district in particular is the agonizing story of western technology being taking reins and making the lives of lakhs of rural poor vulnerable.

TOPICS TO DISCCUSS

Following topics will be discussed in the proposed international conference.

• Role of information technology in making of livelihood of rural people.
• Role of industry in making sustainable livelihood.
• Utility of technology for rural area & agricultural implements.
• Low cost and sustainable housing & roads.
• Energy analysis & appropriate energy technology for rural India.
• Rural pavement design, analysis and construction methodology.
• Role of technology in improvising various facets of Ambar Charkha including productivity.
• Any topic related to rural technology

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts written in English. All submissions will be referred by experts in the field based on originality, significance, quality and clarity. All contributions must be original, should not have been published elsewhere and should not be intended to be published elsewhere during the review period. Accepted papers will be included in conference proceedings in the form of abstract and will be published either in International Journal of Computer Technology & Electrical Engineering (IJCTEE) or  International Journal of Computer Application(IJCA)

PAPER FORMAT

Papers should not exceed 08 pages and should be in PDF format. The paper template (MS Word) is available on conference web site.

PUBLICATION

Papers recommended by reviewers will be published in International Journal (Details will be made available on conference web site, soon.)
For each paper, at least one author is required to register and attend the conference to present the paper, so as to have it included in the conference proceedings.
